Vaccine hesitancy in the U.K. is a prominent concern right now, especially amongst ethnic minorities. This has been attributed to a failure to supply effective public health messaging, and a history of systematic racism within the healthcare system.

In this episode, we talk the dangers of misinformation and fake news for older generations. We also discuss how vaccine hesitancy differs from anti-vax and broke down some of the cultural stigmas surrounding the vaccine.

Darnell points out the importance of empathy and understanding surrounding this issue, and why you shouldn’t immediately judge somebody who is afraid of the vaccine.
